Brett Lipman is responsible for portfolio management, asset management and sourcing direct real estate investment opportunities at RMA. Brett’s experience in multiple real estate product types includes office, industrial, retail and multi-family properties. With a background in acquisitions, he has closed over $400 million in commercial real estate transactions. Brett serves on the RMA investment committee.
Prior to joining RMA, Brett worked at J.P. Morgan within its Global Real Assets (“GRA”) platform. As part of the GRA West Coast Acquisitions team, Brett underwrote and closed a broad spectrum of real estate transactions that spanned varying product types, geographies and risk profiles. Prior to J.P. Morgan, Brett held positions at Ernst & Young as a mergers and acquisitions consultant, and Highbridge Capital Management, where he helped build out a mezzanine and private equity platform.
Brett holds a B.S. in Finance from Sy Syms School of Business at Yeshiva University where he earned the Deans Award for Scholastic Achievement in Finance. Brett also holds a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law where he graduated Cum Laude. Brett is a member of the New York State Bar.
